What is being done with the old cards?

| I am thinking on applying this new AMWX Nectar credit card though I already have this classic AMEX one but I have heard the story about all those bonuses and points that you may get upon your spending on the Nectar cards-to me it sounds like it is some type of cash back credit card and that is the first reason I would apply for one. Anyway I am just curious what is being done with old cards? |

| You may ask the bank officer to put your old credit card on hold or maybe even to close it up but this procedure actually depends on the policy of the specific credit card company. Anyway I had since recently even 2 old credit cards but I actually have recycled them just take care to cut the old credit card in little pieces so your ID number and could not be seen. |
