What is better: overstock.com or ebay?

| Can someone give me some advice? I thought, with the earth awareness trip I am on at the moment, that it might be better to buy second-hand stuff like clothes and maybe a few chairs, and who knows what else. I have had a look in some charity shops but have not found anything I like as of yet. I was thinking that it could be a good idea to look for stuff on the internet.I have heard so many things and do not know where to look. Is ebay any good or how about overstock.com. Has anyone bought stuff and was it any good? |

I have had some experience with eBay and most of it was very good. Okay, sometimes you might have a mishap and things are not really what you had expected. But as a whole I am a very satisfied costumer. Got some great stuff. But sometimes, if you buy an item from some foreign country customs make you pay tax which is not so nice. I don't know about overstock but it sounds like a rip off to me!!! I can't really judge, but I don't feel like trying it either. Enjoy the green earth trip!
