What is comprehensive health insurance?

| Hello there everybody. My name is Ashley and I would appreciate if you could give me some information about health insurance. I have read in the papers that in Maine they introduced some comprehensive health insurance. What is comprehensive health insurance? Thank you in advance for your posts. | Hello Ashley. I also read something about it, so I did some research because it sounded interesting to me. As far as I understood, comprehensive health care is something like a low cost plan. Premiums for the health care are lower and you still get the adequate protection. However, not everyone can use this health plan. It is designed only for people with low incomes, unemployed or self employed. There is some system regarding premiums, but I haven’t understood how it works.
