Regarding debt instruments I was always interested to find out what is qualified debt instrument. This definition I have never managed to find out and not many people are capable to provide me the accurate answer. I am sure that here are some people able to tell me, and I’ll try not to forget it and to pass it to the others, since internet search simply didn’t help.

How come it didn’t help? The first thing that I’ve found gave me simple and accurate explanation, so I guess that you should search more carefully in the future. Qualified debt instrument is that kind of debt instrument which is providing certain amount of security for both – debt owner and the one who is in debt, usually some high class company. So, if you buy qualified debt instruments you’ll be sure that debt will be repaid during specific period, and the company will be sure that the interest will not harm it too much. That’s what I’ve understood by the definition.
