| I have recently been thinking about traveling. I would go abroad and some people recommended me to get some traveler insurance. However, I am not sure what that exactly is and I am interested in one thing. What is term excess in travel insurance? If anyone can help that would be great. |

| Travel insurance, like any insurance, is designed to protect you from any unwanted incidents. That said, it is not mandatory if you are going on your own, but you have to be aware that any costs paid in foreign hospital can do you a lot of damage as they are pretty expensive. Any kind of travel really should be covered by insurance - a particular destination, a cruise, etc. Now, the excess is related to benefits you get from the insurance, and specifically to the part of those that in the case of claiming will immediately have to be paid. I hope you find the info helpful. |
