| Good morning everybody. My name is Dolores and I would appreciate if you could tell me something about one type of bank accounts. I am interested in checking account. What is the checking account? What can you do with it? Thank you in advance for your posts. I am looking forward to them. |

| Hello there Dolores. I’ll be glad to give you some information about this. Checking account is the most basic type of accounts that you can get. Basically, it is a deposit account through which you can receive your salary, withdraw your money from the cash machines and do electronic banking. You cannot earn interest for your money on checking account. One other characteristic is overdraft available to a certain amount.
