What is the important feature of tax systems?

| Do you have any opinions about tax and the way in which is is collected, and about how much tax you are paying? Your answer is most likely to be yes, as almost everyone has a view about taxation! Can you tell me what you think is the most important feature of tax systems? |

| In what sense do you mean that, the most important feature? The most important thing about tax is something very much open to discussion, but whatever you say, the fact is that you have to pay taxes, and the government then decides how that should be used. Without taxes, many projects could not be funded at all! |
