I consider buying a house and am very concerned about rate rising for I am thinking of taking out some mortgage so I would actually like to hear now what is the largest mortgage one can get? And does getting the largest mortgage actually mean that its rates would rise over the time and how am I suppose to get some large mortgage? Thanks!

I suppose you know you should first make a mortgage application and I would always suggest you hire some professional mortgage broker and he would find the best mortgage opt for you. Anyway when it comes to buying a house paying for it through the mortgage rates than I guess the largest mortgage one can get is 20 years or so and it all depends on how well establiched your incomes are in fact. And if you are concerned about the possibility of your rates to get changed over time than I guess your broker would fix the best fixed mortgage rate he could find at this moment for fix mortgage rate in fact means that you are about to pay off its rates at the same price no matter how large the mortgage is.
