What is the main disadvantage of franchising?

| When we talk about franchising business all we talk about is that this is something that is already selling, so you will not have to create a totally new market for your brands at all. There is no need to do something like this and I think this is not something small at all, but I am sure there are some things that you will have to work hard for. What is the main disadvantage of franchising? |

| Let me start by saying that I am no franchising business expert. But I know a thing or two about economy and I was talking to people who were in this kind of business. They all told me that there is nothing more that I can expect from franchising business but to put into this line of business a lot of hard work and maybe I will be earning some money at the end of the day. You will not have problem to get your potential buyers to buy the product especially if the trademark that you are dealing with is good, but you will have problems to pay all you need to pay to the original owners and this is something you will be doing on the monthly bases. |
