I know about partnerships, that they can be called as flow-through entities; I’ve even managed to find what it is on the internet. Now it all makes sense to me and I feel as if I have the chance to fully understand this subject. I’ll need your help, though. What kind of partnership is called a flow-through entity? Not all of them are flow-through, right?

No, I don’t think they are. There are partnerships specially “designed” to avoid double taxation, and I think that is the purpose of these entities. I am talking about flow-through entities, normally. I hope that you’ve learned what those are and that they only have one role during their existence. Basically, they don’t even exist, in some other fields.

They don’t even exist when it comes to taxes, they are not taxed, and therefore they are good for avoiding additional, unnecessary expenses. It is insane how much energy companies have to waste on avoiding way too large taxation. I hate the way system is built nowadays. As for your question, I believe you were asking about limited partnerships, limited liability partnerships and general partnerships.
