What kind of proces is debt consolidation ?

I am in a deep trouble. I have a huge debt and not a clue how to repay it. Everyone is telling me how could I be so stupid to make such a mass and they are not helpful, at all. Can you tell me what kind of process is debt consolidation? Is that the help I need?

| First of all, don’t be too trilled about debt consolidation. It can make it even worse. You can ask your family to help you with a loan. Try to find credit cards with lower rates. If you own some kind of estate, try to get home equity loan, they are inexpensive, relatively easy to get and can even obtain tax deduction. |
