| Dear everyone. Considering I have reached a reasonable point in my career, and have a good salary, I think I am ready to buy a house. I am a 30-year-old woman. I am not currently in a relationship so I will be buying on my own. I know about having to put up a deposit, which I have saved up for. But what other costs would buying a house include? I would appreciate your comments! |

| First of all, take into account that you can get a mortgage of four times the amount of your annual salary. But don't go up to the limit and accept a mortgage you will struggle to pay off. You will probably also be liable to pay stamp duty.... the cost of paying the lawyer... Plenty of things to look out for! The only thing you won't have to worry about it paying the estate agents' - that is the seller's responsibility! |
