| I just graduated from school and at the moment I’m desperately trying to find a job. I sent applications to every firm I knew and I recently received a phone call from an HR person who wanted to interview me over the phone. I was so confused and I told her that I’m busy at the moment, but she didn’t call again. What is your opinion on interview over the phone? |

| Since this was your first interview experience, it’s quite normal to get confused. Many of us had that experience at least once; I still remember my first phone interview, when I hanged up the phone I thought that my every sentence was a mistake. Of course, I didn’t get that one, but after a while you learn how to deal with those interviews. Don’t worry about this one but be prepared for the next one. Many HR managers interview people over the phone, and if they like you, they call you to their offices. This is because so many people are applying for just one position, and they don’t want to waste their time with all of them. |
