Collective investment schemes are mechanisms in which more persons invest on the market together. They are also known as mutual funds or managed funds. When you look for the appropriate mutual fund, you should pay attention to the type of fund, whether it is open-ended or close-ended, what securities are they trading with and who are the people who are running the fund.
