| Hi! I have been saving money for years now thinking about starting a new business. However, I would not want to rush into it, so if anyone could give me some advice regarding the skills I need to have in order to do it successfully, I would be grateful. Any kind of advice would be useful. Thanks in advance. |

| In principle, the skills you need largely depend on the type of business you are running. However, if you ask for some common skills any businessman has to have, in the first place, and absolutely necessary would be the organizational skills. These skills should be backed by the knowledge in economy, at least some basic principles of it. Also, you might need some skills in advertising, accounting and banking, but these are not necessary, as with good organization skills and a lot of starting money, you can always hire an agency to do your commercials, professionals to do the market research, and an accountant to run your books. You need experience in having a small business, and if you do not have any, it would be good to start your business with an experienced partner, and the one whom you absolutely trust. Hope you will find this helpful. |
