Hi. I am wondering about taxes. I have just got accepted for my first full time job - my first real job! I am starting next week and am pretty pleased with the wages. But how much tax do I pay, and what tax do I pay? Do I need to arrange for that myself or does my firm do that? I haven't a clue to be honest... so thanks for your help!

Not all your income is taxed - everyone has a "personal allowance" that is free of tax. Currently this is £5,035. Afterwards your income is subject to income tax, which your employer deducts at source. You won't notice a thing! Mind you, you might be entitled to other allowances also. Check this out with the Inland Revenue.
