What to do when a business partner wants out

| It is so hard for me now, I need some consolation or some kind of advice or I am going crazy! My businesses partner made a mess and now he wants out! What can I do? Practically, I can’t stop him from quitting his position, but he wants me to pay him off and I can only do that if I sell the entire business. I don’t want to do that, I care for this company. What is there left for me to do? Shouldn’t count on his empathy, there’s no room for that. |

| First of all, your partner acted selfishly. There are no many options for you at this point I admit that but, options are still available. Is your company still in good position? I am sure that you don’t even have to count on your partner’s empathy, you have a legal right to demand some time, this thing I am pretty sure about. Well, unless he had much bigger part but, even than, he has nothing out of ruining your business, right? He’ll wait till you get the money, he has to, he has no choice. |
