| I have recently started working on my new business. I had a partner and everything was going well, until he stole my business idea and backed out. It was really good, but now he will sell it without giving me any credit. What should I do? If anyone could tell me, that would be fantastic. Thanks in advance. |

| Starting any business is very risky and you have to be very patient and to have some luck if you want to be successful. You obviously had very bad luck. Stealing business ideas is something morally wrong, and it is also punishable by law, but only when it can be proven. For example, if you have brought it up in an informal conversation, and have no way to prove you are the owner of the idea, I am afraid there is nothing you can do now. Try to use some aspects of it, salvage anything, if there is anything left. I hope you will have more luck in the future. |
