I have just received some extra cash and I don't want to spend it on things that I don't need. It is no huge amount but for me it is still pretty important. What do you think? What should I do with this cash? What would you do with extra cash coming your way?

I would put it into my savings account without any dilemma, if I had no urgent needs. You never know what you will need the money for later on. And at that point, you will be very grateful that you did put the money away safely instead of spending it. What do you think yourself?

With the current recession going on I would not risk putting my money into a savings account anymore. I would, however, put it away safely and not spend it. If you can think of no useful employment for your money then you should just leave it be, in my opinion!

Put it away where? If it is not in a savings account, where will you keep your money? At home? Under the bed or something? I can assure you that that is still much more dangerous than putting money into the bank. I think anything under £50,000 is guaranteed by the government at the moment.
