....I continued this vortex of productivity by

1. cleaning out all of the closets and drawers and bagging up all the unwanted clothes.

2. taking all those bags (I'm ashamed of myself 4 bags!) to Goodwill

3. Dollar store trip

4. Fixed my son's bed. (He jumped and broke the board under. Me fixey!)

6. Continued the laundry. Seems like the projects I start always result in more laundry.

Edited to add that today I laid to rest my best friend for 9 years. My big floppy (read HIDE THE FLUFF) sweatshirt. *taps playing in the distance*

Ah, don't be ashamed - you're doing a lot of good. Of course, if you weren't careful about it, your son may be going outside in just his underwear a lot more...

That's all THIS time. As I lost weight I dumped stuff to make room for the new. Hell half the stuff in those bags came from Goodwill anyway so I figure I paid the money as a rental fee. At least the stuff I have now I know FITS and has no STAINS, yet, and matches other stuff that I have.

I was actually a good girl and didn't BUY anything today.

I actually went to 2 different Goodwill stores today, looking for some furniture. I got a coffee table that I will repaint $8, an 8x5 area rug in a great patchwork pattern for $20 brand new (must have been a factory overstock) and 2 throw rugs for a $1 each. Mom called from my brother's place in MA and they are sending some things for me! and did you know that you can get mattresses (new) at Goodwill????

Yes, my ex worked for them for awhile and they have consultants that go to retailers and try to strike partnerships for overtstocks, odd lots, etc.

I had a supah productive day too. I did lots of inside stuff because I was putting off doing the yard work that I hate. Finished up with the yard work too though. I'm whooped.

Impressive MW! I need to get myself into gear and do the kid's closets. It won't be long before I need to switch the clothes summer to winter and just "dejunk" all the toys. I try to do this every so often.

I'm now weeding out all baby things since my son is 2 1/2 and we no longer need all that infant stuff. FINALLY! I never thought we would see the day where we could get rid of it.

We took the kids to the pool and enjoyed it before it closes for the season.
