| Hello there. My name is Jonathan and I would appreciate if you could give me some information about pass-through certificates. I would like to know what are those certificated for, what is their practical use. Can you also tell me what is most common type of pass-through certificate? Thank you in advance. |

| Hi there Jonathan. Although I don’t have that much information, I think that I could be of some help. Pass-through certificates are actually securities. They are issued by National Mortgage Association which gathers funds from mortgage insurances. Those certificates provide their owners with a fixed income. I cannot tell you how good solutions for investments are they, since I don’t have much experience with them. The most common type of pass-through certificate is definitely mortgage backed pass-through certificates. Well, that is all I can tell you about this. I hope that I was of some help. If you have some more questions about certificates of finances in general, feel free to ask. Bye! |
