| I was thinking about buying a property. I found the excellent offer. Actually my friend did. The price is good and the location is even better. That is why i would like to know more about stamp duty. When do you have to pay it. Whaty do you think? Feel free to write down anything you think. Thank you. |

To my knowledge stamp duty is the tax you pay when you decide to buy property. You pay this tax also when you decide to buy shares as well. But there are a lot of exception when you do not have to pay it. That is why you will have to speak about it with your financial adviser.
