| Hi to you all! I am sure that all of you on this site have received spam in the past, or on a daily basis if you are unlucky, as I have myself as well! But what exactly is spam? When can you refer to an email ad as simply being email marketing, and when does it become spam? I am not clear about this myself, and am hoping to get your opinions. |

| In fact, I think there can be only one circumstance in which case email marketing is NOT spam. That is when the user has agreed to the receiving of the marketing in advance. This may be, for instance, emails containing offers from websites you buy from, and have agreed to be on their mailing list. The same goes for those who have signed up to survey websites. |
