When is ok to increase the rent?

| We rented the apartment to a young couple, six months ago. There was no problem, they are paying the rent on time, everything with the apartment is fine to. They never complained on us or apartment, never had any special needs or suggestions. Now we are thinking of raising the rent for 20, 30 % . Is it a good time? |

| You didn’t say how much is the rent and what kind of apartment you are talking about. If the rent is low and the apartment is in a good state, maybe you could rise a rent now. But then again, you have some really nice lodgers. Are you ready to lose them? If your apartment is easy to rent for a good price, you don’t have to worry. If not, it’s a great risk. |
