My family was in some financial problems last year. So I had some financial problems to and my credit history is not so good. I had to go in some debts to cover my expenses. That is why I need a current account. Everywhere I applied for an account I was denied.
Does anybody know which bank lets debtors have a current account?

You can't get a classic current bank account if you have a bad credit history. But you might think of a Natwest step account which is specially designed student current account. There are just a couple of rules that you should accomplished to obtain a step account. First, you must be over 18 years old which I think you are. Second, you should be a permanent United Kingdom resident for three years or more. The last one is that you should be on a full time studding that lasts for 2 years, at a university or college. If you fulfill all those three rules, you should and would be accepted for Natwets student account. They don't check your credit history because this is account with solo debit card. Later on if you prove that you confirmed yourself they let you have the chance to progress to standard current account. As you see chance always exists.
