Which card is best to use abroad?

I am going on holiday and I am considering which card to use abroad. I am the holder of two credit cards, both of which are Visa. Apart from that I have a few debit cards from my bank. Which card should I use and how? I am going to Spain, although I don't think that matters much I thought I would mention it anyway  . Hoping to get some tips! Thanks. |

| My advice for you is to check just how much it costs to use credit cards abroad. It is probably not a good idea, unless you are very sure there are no additional costs and you are going to pay the balance of in full the same month. Otherwise, just use your debit card to withdraw cash from the local ATM. I always do this and think it is by far the cheapest. |
