Which is the best place for my savings?

Finally my investment paid off and I have some money with which I still dont really know what to do, so Im thinking of maybe depositing it somewhere, in a bank, but there are so many banks opened recently, Italian, Austrian, German that I really dont know which one to choose. I would be really grateful if you could give me a piece of advice. By the way, Im from Hungary.

Youre right, you really cant be sure with all these banks. Its widely known that Swiss banks are the most reliable in whole world, at least in Europe, so if there is an affiliate of a Swiss bank in your town you could save your money in it. Ive heard for the OTP bank, Hungarian bank and some of my colleagues are quite satisfied with them. Im from Serbia and we have AIK bank which is really big bank, a true leader. Its the highest ranked bank in this country and it holds this position for last few years. Im sure when its about my money and I can sleep tight not being afraid whether theyll fly away with my money. Im not quite sure if they have intention to expand themselves outside the borders of this country, but if they come to Hungary, our neighbor, you wont have to think much.
