| Hello everybody. My name is Tom and I would like to ask you something about home loans. Is it truth that you can get a better deal if you have a guarantor? I would like to take a loan to buy an apartment so I’m curious about it. Who can be my guarantor on a home loan? Thank you in advance. |

| Hello to you too, Tome. Well, I think that it al depends on a lender. Some lenders do require a guarantor, but the other ones don’t. It is natural that you can get a better deal with a guarantor because, in that case, lender has one source of security more. I don’t know exactly the details, but I think that your guarantor needs to have assets of his own. He has to prove that he is reliable as a guarantor. However, finding a guarantor for your home loan can be a bit difficult. I know that a friend of mine had some real troubles to persuade his brother to be his loan guarantor. I wish you all the best in that search. Bye! |
