| Hello everyone. I am new to all the things business and banking, and there are some things I still do not understand. For example, I have a pretty good idea what credit rating is, and why it is important. But what remains unclear to me is who is in charge of calculating them? Is there a special branch in each bank? |

| ) It is nice to see that you are doing research, and not just using the benefits. As for the question, no, there are no branches in banks, but you are close. There are special credit bureaus, and they are different from country to country. One bureau is the same in Canada, UK and USA, and it is Equifax. Of course, there are more bureaus in each country. For instance, in the United States there are Experian, TransUnion and Innovis. In the UK you have Callcredit, and so on. There are several things that influence personal credit rating, among which are spending patterns, and ability to pay a loan. So pay attention to those things. Happy spending. |
