Hi to you all! I have been looking around the web to see what the different types of bonds on offer are. I have seen many different ones, and among those I saw there there is also such a thing as Insured Bonds! Can you tell me more? Who in fact insures these Insured Bonds?

Insured Bonds are insured by an insurance company. That means, in this case, that they are insured against default. The result of this is a lower but much more stable return - basically loosing out will be impossible! I strongly favour such bonds as I do not like taking unnecessary risks.
