Who is the general partner in limited partnership?

| When it comes to limited partnerships, I was always wondering about some things. Who is the general partner in limited partnership? I am sure that there has to be one who is putting an and to all decisions, his word should be the most significant, if there would be no such person how could this partnership function at all? Do you know this? |

| Since limited partnership have no management authority I see no what might be an answer to your question, it does make me puzzled in many aspects. Don’t mix limited partnerships with limited liability partnerships, these are different in several aspects, only the name looks alike. I guess you can always ask some friend who practice law. |
