Who makes decision in active management?

| I have been globally looking into some of the management strategies that are around on the stock market and I have seen that there is such a thing as active management. What is that, and who makes the decisions in this type of active management? Please tell me if you have some time. |

| The thing with active management is that it seeks to get returns which are in excess of the set benchmark. The decisions as to what the actives moves should be are made why whomever is or are in charge of the project that is running. Being actively involved is the key to such policy being successful. |
