| There is something that has always been unclear to me. I know that bonds can be issued both by a state and by numerous companies but what I don’t understand is who regulates bonds and who can control them. I know that this is not something which for what nobody is in charge but I don’t know who to blame if yields go down. |

| If we are talking about the US than the situation is comparatively clear. Before tell you what I know about the subject I just want to add that in certain countries, bond markets are not very ordered and regulated and as such they are risky. We can go back to the US now. There is just one agency which regulates bonds and it is in charge of government. There are also some independent organizations, but there is something which is important to state. Most of corporate bonds are in Over the Counter market and as such are not easily controlled. But since there are several kinds of bonds, each organization is responsible for a couple of them. |
