Hello, I would be very grateful if you could explain me something that has been giving me a headache for days. It concerns insurance. Why does Flood insurance have to be bought separately? I really do not understand what might be a reason for this. That is why I would like to see what you think.

Hello, honestly I have no idea why does flood insurance have to be bought separately. All I know is that you must have a separate policy but I do not know why. I just accept it as a fact and I have never tried to determine the reasons for it. I presume that if you ask your insurance agent that you will get the answer.

Hi, I have to say that you have asked very interesting question. I too never thought about this before. And what is even worse I live in a flood zone and I have separate policy. It is funny but I never asked my agent why I have to have a separate policy. He told me that I have to and I just accept it.
