| Hi everyone! I am wondering whether you would share your opinion with me please. I am aware that my husband has stocks and shares, but personally I know very little about it. So here goes. Would you rather invest in stocks or shares? And can someone explain me what the difference is between the two? I would like to understand a bit more about these issues. And any explanations are really appreciated! |

| Hi. Stocks and shares are basically the same thing. If for instance a hundered people have shares in a company, all those shares together are the stock of the company. So what your husband has are shares. The stock market is a place where all shares come together. I hope it is a bit clearer to you now. But I have to say that hardly anyone understand the difference between stocks and shares anymore. So don't worry, you're not the only one! |
