| I have just started my own small business. Like every other beginner, I had some difficulties, but things are improving. I am trying to learn more about the best ways of running business. Now I want to see if I am doing better or worse compared to my competition. I want to see how they answered challenges that this business brings. I read something about calculating market share. Can someone explain this to me? |

| Every beginning is difficult. You have to wait until your customers, clients get to know you better and develop the feeling of trust. Compete with similar firms is difficult as well. By calculating and measuring market share, you can see how are you doing compared with your competitive. In addition, you will able to assess your performance. Market share can be expressed as a division of your companys sales revenue and total sales revenue. Market share can also be calculated as the percentage of sales of a particular product controlled by a company. Calculating your market share can really help you in your further work. |
