| Hi. I am a woman in my early forties. After 15 years of marriage my husband has asked me for a divorce because he says that I am never there. In these years I have built up an extremely nice career and I would honestly say that with the money I make I live very nicely. But now my husband says that he wants an equal division of assets - 50/50!!! That's not fair? Is it? |

| Yes, I think it is, actually. After all, would not a woman in your husband's situation expect, and automatically indeed receive, the very same thing? Just because you are a woman who made money, doesn't mean that your husband is not entitled to a thing, does it now? Especially when it comes to property. But hey, rest assured, if it goes to court the judge will most probably be a male chauvinist pig who will think that you are right! |
