Hi, you should be entitled to state pension but you have to pay your NI contributions or get them paid by the government if you are out of work. When you are working, normally your employer deduces your NI contributions from your wage. But if you are unemployed, go down to your job centre quickly to sort it out, it's very important.
But why don't you look into getting a stakeholder pension or something? It doesn't have to be expensive. Ciao! |
