| Hello, I just got divorced and am very happy about it! What I am not so happy about is that I have to pay for my ex-wifes living expenses, of course I am responsible for my children but this goes too far. But OK, its the law so unfortunately I cant do much about it. Now someone told me my ex-wife can still get a part of my pension even though we are now divorced. Can someone tell me if this is true, and is there something I can do to stop this from happening if it is true? By the way we were married for 8 years. |

| Someone correct me if I am wrong, but I think that most pensions allow for ex-spouses to receive a part after they divorce. This does depend on length of the marriage, and I also believe that she wont be entitled to get a part of anything you get after the divorce is finalized. |
