Hi. I hope you people on this forum can help me answer this short question. I am currently operating as a sole trader and I want to turn my business into a franchise system. Is this allowed tax wise? Are there any people where who have done that and what is their experience? I am situated in Britain by the way, so that you know. Cheers.

Yes, in principle it is allowed and I do know of a few examples where people have done exactly that what you are planning to do. However, you will be more more secure if you operate under the safety of a Limited company. It makes you look more serious as a company and besides, you won't this way carry the sole responsibilty. Which can be worth a lot.
