I have an account at a bank which provides Internet managing. I've never used online services before. Now I'm in need to transfer some money from my account and I'm thinking about transfering money online. I want to transfer some of my money to my son. Is it safe and convenient?

On-line money transfer have become very popular because they offer possibility of paying bills, purchasing and other transfers from home. It's very convenient to manage your finances since you don't have to send money or cash your checks. You can transfer money to your son on-line using your bank's web site. This service is available with many banks, and more are joining. But, because of security reasons, often it's allowed to make transfers inside the bank which means that you would have to check if you can transfer to an account at another bank. It's also possible to transfer money just by your e-mail address. It's a very convenient way and banks are working on security. It's good that money is actually not traveling so economy prospers from it. That's why many people encourage on-line transfer. Recently, well known credit cards companies allowed fast money transfers, so possibilities are greater every day.
